FJELLFINNHUA won the price for the best norwegian documentary film!
Congratulations to Guro Saniola Bjerk!
Her creative documentary Lapp Hat ("FJELLFINNHUA") won the price for best Norwegian documentary film at the Norwegian documentary film festival in Volda on May 2nd 2010.
"Lapp Hat" is a 52 minutes creative documentary film presenting the game of power-dynamics between the minority and majority population of Norway. Saniola Productions is based in Tromsø, where the film had its premiere at the TIFF´s film fra nord program this year.

"This is a story that many Norwegians are not familiar with." The film takes on a big challenge in our present time in a way that the jury found worked well."
