The DINo project

DINo (Digitala Ideplatser i Norr) is a project working to help all the talented and creative people in Västerbotten.
If you are a company, creator, artist, industry association or researcher within the creative industry you can search money from DINo. The requirement is that the project can help several actors within the industry in the region. All the results that are made within the DINo project will be published here and spread through seminars.
Here are some of the projects DINo have supported so far:
Creative Summit
Creative Summit is a VIP event arranged to strengthen, introduce and bring companies, industry people and creative talents together on both a domestic and international level.
The speakers this year included representation from Walt Disney, Zentropa, The Mill and more. Read Sarah´s post about Creative Summit for more information.
Coordinate the creative industry in the Umeå region
HUM Lab will carry out activities such as seminars, development work, events etc. They will also start an industry association within the creative industry in Umeå.
Film studio in Skellefteå
There is now a group appointed to look in to the possibilities of building a film studio in Skellefteå.
28th of august is the next deadline to submit your application to the DINO-project.
