Dagsljus AB together with Angel Films and Devil Rentals now launch the rental company North Star Rental.
North Star Rental will focus on the rental of film equipment with northern Sweden and Finland as its primary market.
The feature film “En enkel till Antibes” is been shot in Luleå right now. It is a tragic-comedy road movie. The film is about the widower George. He catches his grown up children trying to get the inheritance before his even dead.
On December 3rd the feature film “Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale” premiers.
“In the depths of the Korvatunturi mountains, 486 metres deep, lies the closest ever guarded secret of Christmas. The time has come to dig it up!”
Bortbyting have earlier announced that they would produce 3 episodes of Kaisa & Harax² in 2010. But now they have decided to double the dosage;
“By Christmas you will get to experience six new films”.

I went there with the purpose to find out more about the new tendencies in Russian film industry and to find possibilities for collaboration with Russian film makers. The level of ambition in the Russian pavilion was very high.
