The Next event – Part II

October 13th, 2009 by admin. Tags: , , , ,

talare_next-eventAfter lunch the stage was entered by Andreas Lübeck. He filled the room with electronic music that he put together in front of our eyes, by using Iphone apps and by mixing in different YouTube clips

Per Robert Öhlin

Next up was Per Robert Öhlin. He started off by showing a clip from Britain’s got Talent (the one with the mobile salesman Paul Pott, who knocks you of your feet with his amazing voice.) And then, by reasoning with the audience he concludes that the reason for Pott’s success is that he is the archetype of a hero, an underdog.

Per then guided us through different types of archetypes. But instead of us writing more about him here, start reading his blog; Mine Goes To Eleven or get his book; F*ck Logic 2 – konsten att tänka oklokt och få mer pang för pengarna (only in Swedish) and the upcoming Let’s Get Gorgeous! Two Guys, a Ghost & a Bottle of Booze.

Björn Alberts

Björn Alberts – was the next speaker, and he works with leadsgenerering och digital affärsutveckling. Read more about his seminar here.

He asked the question: How to reach out in a digital world?

prismaBjörn spoke of strategies, and how important it was to get your brand online and communicate to the right public. He also spoke of the importance of Facebook (if it was a country it would be number 4 in population size in the world), blogs, YouTube and Google. He also showed Brian Solis Conversation Prism.

Björn also highlighted that that bought channels (like advertising and so on) drastically are reducing in importance. While the act of employees, client meetings and quality of the product is increasing in importance.  And using the free channels (social media channels) is really important, and the people that you reach by social media tools.

He said that it is significant to work with search words, for Google for example, and to choose search words that the client will need and use.

He encouraged all to redo the company budget. And by this move money from traditional marketing costs to digital marketing costs. The digital arena is the most important if you want to reach people!

Judith Wolst

Judith Wolst, then entered the stage and spoke about how e-business and social media belongs together.

She said that it is the consumer who decides what is successful online. She encouraged all to meet the clients in the channel that they are present in. Invite them and get them to interact. The transactions will soon be made in the new economical systems that will include the social medias. Read more about this and Judith in her blog;  Internetionalisering. Her presentation can be found here.

Katja Janford

Katja Janford was next up with a poem, and to tribute to her perspectives in communication. She also has a blog. For her, Internet is about storytelling. And internet is about doing, not thinking of doing (the old ways).

Lotta Lundgren

After this, Lotta Lundgren calmly entered the stage.  She told about how she got sick of a working life in commercial. So she started to write a blog about food; “Om jag var din hemmafru”. Today she writes about food in all the major food magazines in Sweden, and this fall she will be in a SVT-production about food and food culture. The blog is her most successful campaign ever, and it is for herself.

Stefan Hyttfors

Stefan Hyttfors was next up and talked about how Internet has changed all that we earlier thought of as media. People interact, communicate, read and report news and produce things in a totally new way.

And it totally changes all business models. A lot has changed. It is not about getting traffic to your site. It is about interacting in relevant places.  ”Move your business out to the square market” (the ones who hasn’t or wont will be all alone).

Johan Ronnestam

Johan Ronnestam was last up and inspired a lot. He talked about the trends in the future, communication and innovation, and about the importance of open source in product development.

He ended the whole seminar by showing and telling about the 3d printer. What will happen to companies and ownership of designs when we can use it at home?
