Umeå based Village Road Film have realeased a new video with The Rasmus feat Anette Olzon from Nightwish.
Director is Owe Lingwall from Västerbotten, Director of Photography is Axel Söderlund from Norrbotten and the animations are done by David Sandberg also from Umeå, Västerbotten.
The award winning documentary Toxic Playground by Lars Edman and William Johansson will have a screening in the Swedish Parliament at the 16th of december.
The screening is for members of the Parliament and to other invited organizations.

New companies specializing in production services add strength to the industry cluster forming up in the North. During the past year, the supply of production services available in Northern Finland has grown to include such services as casting and equipment rental. Through co-operation initiated within the framework of NFFC’s regional development project and pan-Nordic Film Arc project, the companies belonging to the cluster have also found new markets for their products and services.
Trailer producer Sohini Sengupta and trailer editor Craig Protzel had a great lecture on the first day of the course. Their lecture was very extensive and covered all the parts of a trailer. Everything from style, voice over, editing process and conceptualizing to client contact, budgeting, timeline and more.
The Wedding Photographer filled the cinemas all over Sweden and more than 40 000 people chose to watch Bob Films latest movie during the first weekend of screening. The movie, that premiered the 16:th of October got really positive reviews with quotes like “Sweden’s Funniest movie” and “This falls have-to-see-movie”, and very high grades by most of the Swedish magazines.
M:DOX 2009 in Malmö is a yearly recurring event based on documentary films.

There was a consistent theme at the weekend who testified about the importance of crossmedia in the upcoming productions and the ability to publish and to finance productions on/through the Internet.
Two examples that showed up was “Blood in the mobile” and “Gaza-Sderot“. These projects were discussing opportunities to showcase finished films on the Internet but also use Web sites to market the project while they are still in production.
