The 16th of august I took the night train from Umeå heading for Odense. I was one of the 30 young nordic directors participating in this years Talentcamp Odense (held at Odense Filmfestival).
It was the second year that the talentcamp was held by Filmverkstaed Odense, inspired by the Talentcamp at Berlinale. The talentcamp consisted of a great number of masterclasses held by the directors participating in the festival.
Turborilla is a computer gaming company that started back in 2007. The reason to start the company was a passion for computer games, but also because the market for selling online games was starting to bloom.
Turborilla have now released their very first title, Mad Skills Motocross. The game is distributed from their own site for Windows, Mac and Linux.
In October premiers a new movie, produced by Jan Blomgren, BOB Film. The title is “The Wedding Photographer”/”Bröllopsfotografen”.

The Swedish Film Institute (SFI) is presenting a new short documentary project called “The woman in my life” (Kvinnan i mitt liv). SFI and Swedish television (SVT) invites filmmakers to send in suggestions for documentaries, 13 minutes long.
I got the assignment to produce three new commercials for Nyhléns Hugosons, a regional food producer. I came up with a pretty good script for the films which included the requested keywords: Sweden, BBQ and summer. In short: Three locations, six actors and three sunny
days.
Dizzee Rascals music video for the single “Bonkers”, made by the Skellefteå based company Popcore, was released at the end of April 2009.
